This is
a map of everything south of E. Harbor Street all the way to
Isla Blanca County Park (marked in green). As with all
the maps, you can press the Map, Satellite, and Hybrid buttons
to get a different view of the map.
Common areas of
interest in this area include Schlitterbahn Beach
Waterpark, Plaza 410 Shopping Center, Franke Plaza
Shopping Center, Sunchase Mall, Public Fishing Pier,
& South Padre Island Visitors Center. In
addition, it has 4 beach access points and 1 public boat
ramp on the bayside.
This area of the
island boasts a number of shopping stores: 3 Jewelry
shops, 5 gift shops, 18 clothing stores and even a
sunglasses shop. Plus, it has a number of different
options for food. There are at least three
restaurants that serve breakfast, 4 seafood restaurants,
2 Mexican restaurants, 2 Burger restuarants, 2 ince cream
and yogurt shops, a Japanese restaurant, and 1 coffee
shop. In addition, there are 3 bars and 2 Liquor
stores.
With all this
options, it is little wonder why this part of the island
interest for vacationers has increased over the
years.
